Month of February in Miami, this is when the real season starts to kick in, while everyone wants you to believe that there’s world class everything in Miami, February and March are probably the two best months. In February there are a good host of great things to do.
Miami Boat Show, hell yeah. Ever wanted to go wander around on a few super yachts that you almost certainly will never be able to afford, the boat show is for you. The main show is of course in the Miami Beach Convention Center, but the real show stopper mega yachts pull up outside the Fountainbleu and The Eden-Roc. There’s also a huge bit of it, the show that is that is now on Virginia Key, so lets see how this years show shakes out.
Next you get the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, which is really just a street party, not all that much to write home about, at least not on par with Art Basel, but its infinitely more fun when you can walk along the stalls outside and enjoy a cold beer and the sunshine.
Last and hardly least if you care to brave all the insane chaos and the extortionate ticket prices, hit up The South Beach Food and Wine Festival. And if you haven’t been to Food and Wine yet, then let us be very clear, the lack of any line that you see in the image above, is unheard of.
