Seems to be the big number that no one can really break in and around Coconut Grove, shooting for that $50 million purchase price for a single family home. While the mega mansion nine digit real estate transactions can be chalked up in New York City and even Los Angeles, Miami really seems to be lacking. Single home mega mansion developers and real estate agents really need to break a sale solidly above $50 million to prove the point, but seems unlikely that will happen in this go around.
The most recent effort is for a 13,000 plus square foot home overlooking the Atlantic Ocean just a few steps from the actual village of Coconut Grove. Of course any home of this type needs a name and it has been christened, Casa Bahia, how’s that for original. The home itself is pretty much what you would expect, big and on the water, not much else to write home about. Elliman currently has the listing.
