It’s great to see that not all of the older classic homes from Miami Beach’s golden era have been demolished to make room for some modern poorly conceived white slab construct. One of the older mid – North Bay Road homes has come on the market and we are definitely loving it. Originally built in 1936 it has clearly been very well maintained and updated over the years but has kept a very bit of its charm and personality. The address of 5050 North Bay Road means it’s sufficiently off of and away from the hospital, so that’s great. For anyone who buys it you will be neighbors to the original Carl Fisher Estate that is now occupied by Ugo Columbo, can’t tell you if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, if you ask really nicely maybe he can hook you up on a discount over at the Collection for a new fleet of cars – the property has a gorgeous driveway and the rest ain’t too bad either – 8,600 square feet, right on the water, 10 bedrooms and 11 and 2 half baths, fountain, pool, lots of loggia’s. Basically checks off all the must have boxes on a classic Miami Beach estate in a fantastic location, right on the water, great neighbors, gorgeous view.
